The Masterpiece Mini Series is the logical evolution of our uncompromising Masterpiece Reference and Standard – distilled into a more room-friendly format without sacrificing the core DNA that makes Hornsolutions legendary.

After years of perfecting the massive Double and Single Octahorn systems, we asked ourselves:
How can we bring the same level of resolution, dynamics, holography, and emotional immediacy to spaces where 700 kg monuments are simply not feasible?
The answer is the Mini – a no-compromise system engineered from the ground up using every lesson learned from the flagship series.

Bass – Intelligent, Controlled, Deep
We deliberately moved away from horn-loaded bass to a highly sophisticated sealed enclosure inspired by the WE66A geometry.
This asymmetrical cabinet eliminates standing waves and internal resonances completely.
Two 16” hard-suspension woofers operate in absolute freedom – internal pressure has zero negative influence on cone movement.
Result: bass that is fast, articulate, authoritative, and extends to 23 Hz with the same precision and control the full Masterpiece series is famous for.

Midrange – The Heart Remains Untouched
The legendary WE66A horn – a 33% scaled version of the massive 15A from the Reference series – takes over from 180 Hz.
Driven by the identical 666 compression driver (112 dB efficiency, lowest distortion in class, 1.6 g diaphragm, 23,500 Gauss motor), it covers the vital 180–1,800 Hz range with zero crossover interference in the most musically critical band.
≈80% of all musical content remains unaltered, preserving warmth, timbre, and naturalness.

High Frequencies – Effortless Extension
The Elysio HT16 – a refined, more compact evolution of the acclaimed HT9 – handles everything above 1,800 Hz up to beyond 20 kHz.
State-of-the-art beryllium driver delivers crystalline air, speed, and micro-detail.

True Point Source – Concentric Perfection
Just like in the Reference and Standard series, WE66A midrange and Elysio HT16 are arranged concentrically on one single sound axis.
This delivers phase linearity, exceptional depth, and holographic imaging – the hallmark of all Hornsolutions designs.

Efficiency & Configuration
Sensitivity of 108 dB ensures explosive dynamics with minimal amplifier power – exactly what you expect from a true Hornsolutions system.
Available in both active DSP-controlled(using “The Room” IIR/FIR or DEQX Pre-8) and passive configurations featuring a scaled-down, yet still elite version of “The Networks” analog crossover (high-quality air-core coils, Mundorf capacitors, integrated seamlessly into the design).
